Methodist Chapel, Park Road - The Methodist Chapel has recently been registered as an Asset of Community Value. Notification from the owner of an intention to dispose of of Combe Methodist Chapel has been received by WODC. The District Council invites any community interest group to express an interest to be treated as a potential bidder by 14th September.
Flooding - Luckily the village moved up from the valley near Combe Mill in the 14th century, these swans are swimming on the site of the old village in February 2014.
About 6 years ago the Parish Council arranged major work to prevent flooding that was causing problems and this has ensured we have not had any serious flooding in the village recently.
Automated External Defibrillator - for cardiac arrest. The pictures are the handover from DickTracey of the NHS Ambulance Service at the December meeting and the other two taken by an official photographer for the Witney Gazette showing it being installed on the side wall of the Reading Room.
